I.M. Nexus Recruitment Services is a recruitment agency based in Cyprus. We recruit workers from abroad for Cyprus employers and prepare the work permit applications that go with each hire. We are responsible for the personal data described in this policy.

What this website collects

The contact form asks for your name, your email address and a message. Company and phone number are optional.

The form does not store anything on this website. When you submit it, your email app opens with your message ready to send to us, and we receive your details only when you send that email.

This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.

Data about employers

When you work with us, we keep your business contact details, the roles you need to fill, and the terms of any contract we agree.

Data about workers

When we recruit a worker for an employer and prepare a work permit application, we handle that worker's personal data. This can include name and contact details, date of birth, nationality, passport and other identity documents, qualifications, work history and the employment contract.

We use it only to recruit for the role and to prepare and follow the work permit application.

Why we use personal data

• To answer your enquiry and provide our services. This is necessary to take steps at your request before a contract and to carry out the contract.
• To prepare work permit applications and meet the legal requirements that come with them. This is a legal obligation.
• To keep records of enquiries and clients so we can run our business. This is our legitimate interest.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data. We share it only as needed:

• with the employer a worker is recruited for;
• with the authorities and other parties involved in a work permit application;
• with providers that help us run our business, such as email and IT services, who may use the data only to provide those services.

Transfers outside the European Economic Area

Because we recruit workers from abroad, personal data may be exchanged with people and organisations outside the European Economic Area, including the workers themselves. We do this only as far as the recruitment and permit process needs, and we protect the data as the law requires.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries only as long as we need to reply and for a reasonable time afterwards. We keep recruitment and permit records for as long as the law requires and as long as we need to deal with questions about a placement. After that we delete or anonymise them.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
• ask us to correct data that is wrong or incomplete;
• ask us to erase your data or restrict how we use it;
• object to our use of your data;
• receive your data in a portable format, where this applies;
• withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on it.

How to use your rights or complain

Email [email protected] and we will reply within one month, as the law requires.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection in Cyprus.
